History: T J Marshal is a former Law Enforcement officer who was released from his job after a controversial fight he was involved in, inside a bar he frequents. His bosses accused him of being too brutal when attempting to subdue a known assailant that just happened to walk in after him. The man was left brain dead, and T J Marshal was forced to leave his job. Even though the final ruling was that he was acting in self defense, others remain sceptical as to whether T J went too far or not. The bartender had known ties with the WTW and suggested that T J try out for wrestling. He has a previous background wrestling in the independant leagues in the XACW federation where he is a former World Champion, Hardcore Champion, Tag Team Champion, and King of Hardcore Champion. He surpassed all developmental training expectations, and was fortunate to move to the next level.
In his storied WTW career, he excelled in many title fights, including winning the World Championship once in an upset victory over WTW wrestler Jonathon Wild in Charlotte, NC in September of 2002. That victory began a long a storied WTW career, and saw him earn the respect of the monster known as Jobu. Together, the two reeked havoc over WTW's Tag Team Division.
Previous Federation belts:
WTW Hardcore Champion
WTW World Tag Team Champion (Partner: V Jack)
WTW Stable Champion Partners: (Ultravibe and V Jack)
WTW Junior Heavyweight Champion (2 times)
WTW World Champion
After WTW closed citing financial reasons, T J Marshal fought on the independant circuit for a while, having gone his seperate ways from his partner Jobu, and manager Herbert Kornfeld. Jobu and T J would meet again in the WGF promotion, and eventually sign on to the P.O.W. Roster.
To Date TWG Titles Held:
1st Lvl Champion: 2 victories and 1 defenses
2nd Lvl Champion: 3 victories and 6 defenses
3rd Lvl Champion: 1 victories and 1 defenses
1st Lvl Tag Champ: 11 victories and 18 defenses
Gimmick: T J Marshal's attitude has always been a problem, both backstage and in the ring. He's care free, and careless. Instead of sticking to the match at hand, he tends to taunt his opponents, and show off to ladies in the crowd. Such self-made distractions have cost him many a match. He also has a hot temper that tends to flare more often than not. He can be too aggressive, and does not like to lose, often beating down his opponents well after the match is over. He takes no responsibility for his actions, instead often finding someone else to blame for his own mistakes.[img]
